I found the book of Job full of wisdom and the man himself is a devoted man of God, is quite an individual of depth and understanding. His perception and character towards life is renowned because of his great love and devotion to God. His life was a form of an offering to the Lord and had been an inspiration to everyone especially to Christians, whose faith and devotion is also in the Lord.

The Last Walk

I've been worrying about Chowchow for a week, he'd been feeling ill. I bathed him everyday and fed him hoping he would be better. I planned of taking him early morning for a walk as soon as I arrive regardless of the almost double shift OT. And I was glad I did. He was still weak but maybe a walk would revive him. I was glad to see him got up.

I opened the gate and once again I was walking with my dog. He silently and calmly walked straight ahead of me. But he used to run playfully, dragging me back and forth, and I miss those times. However— I started feeling so serene as we walk.

The silence of the twilight filled me. But in a very short time Chowchow suddenly stopped and looked so unbalance— he urinated and stayed. I pulled the tie— pulled him back and called him a few times. But he didn't move and i realized he was very weak and can't take a walk any longer. So I stopped and stayed where he was but he suddenly dropped to his knees.

Then, I understand what was going on— he was dying. I kept on calling his name, desperately hoping that it could make him better. I grasped and brought him back to our house.

There he lied and breathed so helplessly. I continued calling his name until I heard him take his last breath.

I couldn't move, and wonder how he made that last walk. I realized it wasn't me who took the walk with him but he was the one who took the last walk with me...^^;
